來自腎上腺髓質 chromaffin cells (pheochromocytes) 的腫瘤。是在腎上腺內的 sympathetic paraganglioma。多數是散發，而大約有 10% 被認為是在某些症侯群（包括 MEN type 2、von Hippel Lindau syndrome、neurofibromatosis type 1、hereditary paraganglioma syndrome、Sturge-weber disease 等）中的其中一個表現。可能發生在各個年齡，不過最多在 30~50 歲。家族性的病例則會更年輕一些。患者的性別分布幾乎沒有差異。

WHO 定義：
Germ cells with abundant vacuolated cytoplasm, large, irregular nuclei and prominent nucleoli located withing the seminiferous bubules.

Leydig cell tumor, testis
如同字面意義，此腫瘤是由朝向 Leydig cell 分化的細胞所組成的，佔所有睪丸腫瘤的 1~3%。（在兒童與嬰兒的睪丸腫瘤佔 3%，睪丸 stroma 腫瘤的 14%。）沒有種族的差異。有時候可以在 Klinefelter syndrome 患者身上出現，另外大約 5~10% 的病人有隱睪症的病史。在成人發生於 20~60 歲間居多，兒童則以 3~9 歲間為主。
